ColourLink is a consortium of over 40 resellers of graphics supplies, art materials, CAD equipment and consumables and includes over 30 digital printing bureaux operating throughout the UK. The group is a significant user of large format plotters and print presses which gives us a unique insight into the quality, efficiency and production capabilities of a multitude of machines. This covers a spectrum of digital printing solutions from Océ, Kip, Canon and Xerox; Indigo presses and DesignJet plotters from Hewlett-Packard; colour plotters from Epson and Canon; the latest scanning equipment for both large and small format documents and the latest folding, laminating and binding equipment.
Since formation in 1996, ColourLink has seen some major changes in the reprographics industry; not least the advent of digital technology. For some of the smaller businesses within the group, investing in this equipment was either too expensive or just not economically viable. By making the latest digital equipment and communication links available to them through our network of bureaux, ColourLink saw the opportunity not only to provide a reprographics service that offered additional value for money but to also promote each individual member to a potentially national status.
